The Hawaiian Islands

The Hawaiian Islands consist of eight islands. The capital of the state of Hawaii id Honolulu. This city is located on Oahu island. Honolulu has a population of 390,000. Oahu is a beautiful island. You will realize this when you fly over this island by helicopter.

The city of Honolulu with its downtown skyscrapers , spectacular beaches , green forests areas and volcanic mountains , luxurious villas , pineapple farms and Pearl Harbor are the places that spectators can see when taking an excursion.
The color of the sand which is on the beaches is white so people can see the fish which are swimming in shallow water.
If you want to go to the depth of the ocean and view the fishes , reserve a seat on a submarine and use it to go 40 meters under the surface of the ocean.
There is a circular window in front of each seat and visitors can sit there and watch the floor of the ocean and fishes through these special windows.
The submarine has an air conditioner and visitors do not need to change their clothes for their underwater journey.
The most famous beach of Honolulu is Waikiki Beach. The hotels and restaurants are on one side of Waikiki Boulevard and the beach is on the other side.
The Honolulu Zoo is at the end of Waikiki Boulevard.
Diamond Head is the name of a green volcanic mountain which is one of the major tourist attractions of the city of Honolulu.
Most of the people who live in Hawaiian Islands are Asian. They speak English and their local language.
“Aloha” in the Hawaiian language means Hello and “Mahalo” means Thank You.
Many Japanese travel to Hawaii on Holidays and weekends.
Swimming with the dolphins is one of the other kind of entertainment activities that tourists can do it.
There are some huge and robust trees in Hawaii and the special native fruit of Hawaiian Islands is pineapple.
Maui is the second most famous island of Hawaii where many tourists spend their vacation.
The distance between Honolulu and Maui is 30 minutes by plane.
It is interesting that the flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu took five and 15 minutes even though there was no load along the route.
The weather of Hawaii is good during all seasons and this is a very good advantage for the island.
