Geneva
After Zurich , I got to Geneva after taking a two and a half hour train ride. Geneva is an international city which is the home of the European headquarters of the U.N.
Geneva is located next to Geneva Lake and the lake goes from Geneva to Luissane.
This region is French-speaking part of Switzerland.
Geneva is a global city , a financial center and worldwide center for diplomacy due to the presence of numerous international organizations.
A tall fountain which is in the lake is the symbol of Geneva.
This city has a population od 196/000.
I paid 12 CHF to visit the U.N and an employee of the United Nations showed us some departments of the U.N headquarters.
Then I visited the Aryana museum which is just beside the U.N.
The Red Cross headquarters is also opposite the U.N building.
A park and Cathedral st,pierre were the other attractions that I have seen in this trip. (September 2013)
